Merry Goosemas & Candy Cane Dash Christmas Tags | Spellbinders All-Clubs Crate BONUS ITEMS for October, 2026

I am absolutely in love with the bonus items included in the Spellbinders ALL-CLUBS CRATE of the Month for October! There are two adorable die sets, and the larger Merry Goosemas is definitely my favourite. This sweet Christmas goose can be dressed up in a variety of festive costumes, including a Christmas tree, Santa, elf, or the most adorable little reindeer. The second set, Candy Cane Dash, features a cute dinosaur carrying a candy cane. These sets are absolutely the bomb—and they make creating Christmas tags so much fun!

Tag Details
I love making Christmas tags, and the Spellbinders 3-in-1 Tag Punch is one of my favourite tools for creating them. It creates three different tag widths, and you can customize the length to suit your project.
For these tags, I cut eight tags from kraft cardstock using the 2½-inch width and trimmed them to 4 inches long. The sentiments from the Clear Stamp & Die of the Month were stamped along the bottom of each tag.
To give the tags a snowy, wintry feel, I splattered them with Splatter White, slightly watered down and applied with a fan brush. I made sure to mask the stamped sentiments before adding the splatter so they remained crisp and easy to read.

Merry Goosemas
I started by creating the adorable Christmas geese. Each goose was die-cut from white cardstock, with dark orange cardstock used for the beak and feet. The set also includes a die for cutting the black cardstock layer behind the head, creating the eyes.
Then came the really fun part—putting together all of those sweet little costumes using Spellbinders Colorwheel Cardstock!

For the reindeer, I used Fawn and Kraft for the body and headpiece, with Poppy, black, and Tuscan cardstock for the collar and details.
The Santa goose was created with Poppy and white cardstock, with a touch of gold foil cardstock for the buttons. His little present was made using Chiffon and Poppy.
For the elf, I used Poppy, Fern, and gold foil cardstock. And, of course, I had to create the fun Christmas tree goose! The tree was made from Fern and Rainforest, with Tuscan and Poppy for the ornaments. The string of lights was cut from gold foil cardstock and finished with a little Tuscan star at the top.
For the final plain goose, I simply added a sweet Fern bow to the top of her head.

Candy Cane Dash
And now for Candy Cane Dash!
I created three adorable dinosaurs in three different colour combinations. The first uses Chiffon, Blush, and white for a soft and sweet look. The second takes a more traditional Christmas approach with Fern, Rainforest, Poppy, and white. For the third, I went in a completely different direction with Seaside, Malibu, and white.
All of the little characters were popped up with foam squares and attached to the tags just above the sentiment. A ¼-inch ribbon was threaded through the hole at the top of each tag to create the finishing touch.
Closing Thoughts
He ALL-CLUBS CRATE bonus die sets are such a delightful surprise! The Merry Goosemas characters are incredibly versatile. And Candy Cane Dash? Those little dinosaurs carrying their candy canes are simply too cute!
Christmas tags are one of my favourite things to make because they are small, quick, and a wonderful way to add a handmade touch to a gift. These two sets certainly made this batch extra fun—and I have a feeling there will be plenty more Merry Goosemas and Candy Cane Dash projects in my future!
