It’s never too early to start creating for the holidays, and the Spellbinders July 2026 ALL-CLUBS CRATE make Christmas crafting absolutely irresistible! This month’s Christmas in July theme is packed with festive inspiration, and the bonus products are especially delightful. The Candy Cane Swing die creates the sweetest interactive cards with a swinging candy cane, while Merry Bear is simply one of the cutest holiday die sets I’ve seen. Today I’m sharing three cheerful cards—one featuring a trifold scene with the adorable bears, and two quick and easy interactive cards showcasing the snowman and penguin from Candy Cane Swing.

Merry Bear Trifold Card
The star of my first project is the adorable Merry Bear die set. I die cut the bear three times from white cardstock, then created three festive bow colours using Cranberry, Rainforest, and Teal cardstock from the Spellbinders Colorwheel Cardstock collection.
To create the background, I ink blended a 4¼” × 5½” panel of white cardstock using Distress Oxide Faded Jeans and Peacock Feathers, creating a soft winter sky. Using the landscape dies from the Small Die of the Month, I cut two snowy hills from white cardstock. One hill sits higher than the other, and each was trimmed to 4½” wide. A ¼” tab was scored on opposite sides of each hill so they could be attached to create a fun trifold card front.

Before assembling, I lightly blended Faded Jeans ink along the tops of the snowy hills and stamped sentiments from the Clear Stamp & Die of the Month. One sentiment was placed on the first hillside, another on the second, and the final greeting on the ink blended background so the message is revealed as the trifold opens.
Both the background and hillsides were finished with white splatter to create the look of falling snow. The taller hill was adhered behind the background panel using the scored tab, while the shorter hill was attached to fold over the taller one. The completed trifold panel was then adhered to an A2 card base.
The bears were popped up with foam squares, adding lots of dimension to the snowy scene. I finished the card with a sentiment banner created using white and Indigo cardstock with the banner die from the Small Die of the Month, mounted on foam adhesive. A few additional snowflakes completed this sweet winter landscape.
Candy Cane Swing Interactive Cards

The remaining two cards feature the delightful Candy Cane Swing die set. Since it includes both a snowman and a penguin, I couldn’t resist making one of each!
For the backgrounds, I embossed one panel of white cardstock and one panel of Chiffon cardstock using the 3D Embossing Folder of the Month – Beautiful Scripty Merry Christmas. Each embossed panel was adhered to an A2 card base.
The sentiments, from the Clear Stamp & Die of the Month, were stamped onto coordinating white and Chiffon cardstock, die cut, and adhered onto foam diecuts near the bottom centre of each card. Placing the sentiments first ensures they don’t interfere with the interactive swinging mechanism.

The snowman was assembled using Cranberry and Rainforest cardstock, while the penguin was created from black, white, and Rainforest cardstock. One candy cane was die cut from Cranberry and white cardstock, while the second uses Blush and Chiffon for a softer look.
The glittery bows were assembled from white and gold glitter cardstock and finished with festive greenery. The bow is intentionally kept separate from the candy cane during assembly. To create the interactive feature, position the bow over the circular opening at the top of the candy cane and place a foam square behind the top of the bow. The candy cane itself remains unattached, allowing it to swing freely beneath the bow while being held securely in place by the foam square.
It’s such a clever design and creates the sweetest bit of movement every time the card is handled!
Closing Thoughts
This month’s bonus items are packed with festive charm and wonderful interactive elements. I love that the Merry Bear die set creates an adorable winter scene, while Candy Cane Swing offers a quick, fun project with just the right amount of movement to delight the recipient. If you’re looking to get a head start on your holiday cards, the Christmas in July Club Kits are full of inspiration and are sure to make creating for the season even more fun!
