It’s all about the Halloween! The bonus items included in this month’s ALL-CLUBS CRATE feature two die sets: Scaredy Cat and Make A Monster! I have created a pair of spooky cards. One is a quick and easy A2 card, while the other features a fun interactive element that’s sure to make someone smile.
The "New Subscriber" registration window is open monthly from 6th to the 27th. Sign up this month and get the design pictured.

Make a Monster
For my first project, I created a fun interactive round card using the Make A Monster die set.
I started by creating a black circular card base. A folded piece of black cardstock was die cut using a large circle die positioned slightly over the fold to create a hinged card. Since this leaves a small flat edge at the fold, I cut a second black circle and adhered it to the front to create a perfectly round card.
A slightly smaller circle of purple ColourWheel cardstock was centred on the front to create the background.
Now for the fun part! The Make a Monster die set includes interchangeable pieces, allowing you to create all kinds of silly or spooky monster faces. I die cut the monster pieces from black, white, Tuscan, Lavender, and Poppy cardstock before assembling my goofy little monster.
The different sized eyes, pointy fangs, bright red tongue, and tiny bat with the “Boo!” banner from the Large Die of the Month give this monster loads of personality.
To make the card interactive, I attached a large Card Spinner big eye to allow it to rotate when the card is moved … so super cute! It adds the perfect playful touch and is guaranteed to bring a smile.

Scaredy Cat
The Scaredy Cat die set is designed to fit perfectly in the corner of an A2-sized card, making it incredibly easy to create a striking, spooky design.
I began by embossing a panel of purple ColourWheel cardstock with the 3D Embossing Folder of the Month. The embossed panel was adhered to an A2-sized card base to create a rich textured background.
Next, I assembled the adorable spooky kitty. The cat was die cut from black cardstock with accents of Peridot, Tuscan, and Fog Colorwheel Cardstock. I first assembled the witch’s hat and adhered it to the cat’s head before adding the bright green collar and the cute little skull charm.
To create a little dimension, I adhered the corner portion of the tail to the bottom left corner of the card with foam. The cat was also attached with foam squares so that it slightly overlapped the tail. I added the smiling pumpkin and the “Eek!” sentiment to the top of the hat before popping up the curved top of the tail with foam squares.
This card came together quickly and is such a fun way to celebrate Halloween!
These bonus dies are so much fun to mix and match, and they’re perfect for creating quick Halloween cards full of personality. Whether you prefer the mischievous Scaredy Cat or the silly monster, you’ll have plenty of options for creating unique spooky greetings this Halloween.
