Hello friends! Spellbinder's Stitching Die of the Month, Diamond Knit, create a gorgeous background perfect for all occasions. I have used it as a backdrop for one of the cute critters and the florals found in the Large Die of the Month and with the newly introduced Gift Card Pockets on one card. These translucent plastic pockets are a package of 12 and have adhesive backing on one side to adhere to your card. There is a half-circle cutout on the front of the pocket allowing the gift card to be retrieved with ease.
The March "New Subscriber" registration window will be open March 6th to the 27th. Sign up in March and receive the current design.

The Stitching Die of the Month consists of an A2 sized background die and a rectangular strip die with two different sentiment inserts.
The background die was used to cut a panel of white card stock and indigo card stock. This die was also used to cut foam; black for the dark card and white for the other.
The panels were stitched using a sweet crosshatched design. Plum embroidery floss was used for the indigo background and a pastel, variegated thread for the white one.

Pink and plum cardstock were used to cover A2 sized card bases.
Tombow Adhesive was applied to the of the back of the stitched panels and left to dry until it was in its tacky state. The panels were then stacked onto the foam background die cuts. The panels were adhered to the cart bases.
For the pink card, a self adhesive Gift Card Pocket was centred onto the lower half of the card.
The critter and florals were cut from the Large Die of the Month and adhered to the left-hand side of the pocket.

The sentiment and the placeholder gift card were cut using dies from Treat Yourself Gift Card Holder. The sentiment was stacked on foam die cuts.
A vellum window and florals were cut from the Large Die of the Month. The flowers and leaves were also cut from foam. The backs of the cardstock flowers, and the fronts of the foam die cuts were coated with Tombow adhesive and left to dry until it was in its tacky state. The vellum window was sandwiched between the cardstock and foam die cuts creating a floating effect. The dry adhesive ensures that the vellum will not wrinkle.
The vellum window on the dark card was embellished with clear confetti finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
