Hello friends! Spellbinder's Stencil of the Month Club, Rainbow Floss Background, is an incredibly fun layering stencil set! I loved creating with these stencils. For me, it was a great opportunity to play with gradients of colour. It was hard to stop but I finally made myself put the stencils away after the third card .... for now!

The stencilling was done on white card stock with either Fresh Dye Inks or Pawsitively Saturated Inks.
There are 5 stencils and the first 2 create the base colour for the six skeins. The Fresh Dye inks, in the order they appear on the card front, for the pink card are Rose Quartz, Puffy Heart, Coral Berry, Purple Wine, Cosmic Berry and Ruby Red.
For the yellow card, the Pawsitively Saturated inks were used; Lemonade, Sunbeam, Citrine, Peachy, Grapefruit and Mandarin.
The blue card was done up in Fresh Dye Inks Sea Glass, Ocean Waves, Dusk, Silver Sage, Jade and Eucalyptus.
The third stencil adds the thread detail. The same inks were applied dropping off the first ink, the lightest tone, and adding a darker tone at the end; Grapevine, Pucker and Forest Fern.
The fourth stencil is the band and was done in Black Soot Distress Ink.
The gold detail on the band using the last stencil was first coloured with Copic Y28 and then finished off with Gold Coast Nuvo Glitter Drops.
The panels were trimmed to 4" by 5 1/4" and adhered to black, A2 sized card bases.
The sentiments from the Glimmer of the Month or the bonus item included in the The Deluxe Caboodle Club were foiled with Aura Glimmer Hot Foil using the Hot Foil System.
The thread, needle and small skein from the Large Die Of the Month were cut from card stock and foam. The elements were stacked and adhered to the card fronts.
The cards were embellished with gold glitter crystals.
