Hello everyone! This set of cards not only features Spellbinder's Sealed Cord & Faux Seal Sentiments BetterPress plates but also highlights some new wax seal bead colours. The wax seals have been done in Spruce, Fern, Pistachio and a Coral Wax Bead Mix. Of course there are several more new introductions that are worth checking out at Spellbinder's SHOP!
I am using Spellbinder's Wax Seal Starter Kit. This kit contains everything you need to create beautiful seals.
I began by creating my seals; one from each of the new colours of wax beads Fern Wax Seal Beads, Check out the VIDEO TUTORIAL!
Four panels of cardstock in shades of blue and teals were cut to 4 1/4" by 5 1/2" and taped to the registration marks for an A2 size on the clear plate of the BetterPress Letterpress System.
The cord plate from Sealed Cord & Faux Seal Sentiments was positioned on the magnetic chase in the lower half of the A2 registration marks and inked with Versamark.
The pressed image was coated with white embossing powder and melted.
The panels were cut with a die from the Notched Corner Frames set and adhered to A2 sized card bases.
Water colour paper was sprayed with Distress Mica Stains Winterfrost, Shiny Bauble and Merry Mint.
The paper was the spattered with Dr. PH Martin's Bleedproof White and black water colour paint.
Autumn Sealed Sprigs was used to cut several long stemmed leaves.
The sprigs were adhered to the card front with a combination of liquid adhesive and foam squares.
The wax seals were adhered with Wax Seal Adhesive Circles.
The card was embellished with silver iridescent confetti finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
White Nuvo Drops were used to complete the card.
