Hello friends! Spellbinder's It's My Party Collection is so much fun! I have doubled up the celebration with Party Balloons Bouquet Glimmer Hot Foil Plates and Die Set. I love the Balloon Bouquet Designs Stencil for adding quick and easy details. Takes all those balloons to the next level!
The balloon bouquet was foiled two times using Gold Glimmer Hot Foil on Bristol Smooth Card Stock and cut with the cording die.
While the Hot Foil System was still warmed up, I also foiled three balloon strings, also in gold, and cut with the die.
Glimmering Hooray Hot Foil Plate and Die Set was foiled in Pink Glimmer Hot Foil. The sentiment and foam were cut with the die and stacked.
The balloons were coloured using a dauber to apply Distress Oxide Inks; Shaded Lilac, Tumbled Glass, Scattered Straw and Spun Sugar. The ink was applied using more pressure on the base and lightening it moving to the top creating a gradient.
Using the same inks, each balloon was stencilled with the Balloon Bouquet Designs Stencil.
A panel of 4" by 5 1/4" cream coloured card stock was adhered to an A2 sized card base.
One set of the balloon bouquets was adhered directed to the card front favouring the top left hand corner.
The second bouquet will be popped up with foam square adhesives. Before attaching it, two of the balloon strings were slipped into the slits at the base of the balloons and adhered. The bouquet was then mounted in the centre of the card front overlapping the first set of balloons. The third balloon string was slipped under the bouquet and adhered between the two front balloons.
The foam mounted sentiment was adhered on top of the second set of balloons.
The card was embellished with confetti matching the colours used on the balloons. They were finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
