Spellbinder’s It’s My Party Collection featuring Party Balloon Garland

Hello, everyone! I have an eye popper featuring the fun Party Balloon Garland Stamp Set! The coordinating stencil, Balloon Garland and Sentiments Stencil, makes colouring the garland super quick and easy! I really enjoyed making this card …. an experiment of colour!

  • The balloon garland from Party Balloon Garland Stamp Set was stamped on an A2 sized panel of white card stock with grey ink in a stamping platform. The card was flipped around so the garland could be stamped a second time creating a wreath. The stamp was left in the Misti, so the images could be embossed after the colouring.

  • Balloon Garland and Sentiments Stencil consists of four stencils. The stencilling was done with Pawsitively Saturated Inks Cherry, Watermelon, Guava and Taffy applied with blender brushes.

  • After the inks were dry, the panel was placed in the Misti and the two garlands were stamped with Versmark ink and embossed in gold.

  • The garlands were fussy cut as one creating a balloon wreath. To hide any imperfections the edges and any white spaces in the garland were coloured with a black COPIC marker.

  • Black card stock measuring 4 1/4" by 5 1/2" was adhered on an A2 sized card base.

  • For some dimension, the wreath was mounted with black foam adhesive tape to the black card front.

  • Party Balloon Garland Stamp Set includes a number of sentiments. Happy Birthday was stamped on gold foil card stock with black Versafine ink and clear embossed. It was die cut with an oval die and detail die from Oval Essential Die Set. The sentiment was adhered to the centre area of the wreath with foam squares.

  • A secondary sentiment was stamped on black card stock with Versmark ink and gold embossed. The sentiment was cut down to a strip and adhered onto the wreath with foam tape adhesive.

  • The card was embellished with gold foil pearls.
