Hello everyone! I have another cute card featuring Party Time! from Spellbinder's adorable HOUSE-MOUSE EVERY DAY COLLECTOR BUNDLE. Such a sweet image ... a little bit of masking, ink blending and Copic colouring completes this cute card!
The image was stamped with Copic-friendly ink on Bristol Smooth card stock and masking paper.
The image on the masking paper was fussy cut just inside the line to avoid 'halo-ing' when applying the ink blended background. After the image was masked, the horizon on the background was masked with Post It Note tape.
The top of the panel was inked with Distress Oxide Ink Picked Raspberry, Abandoned Coral and Dried Marigold.
The Post It Note tape was adjusted so the foreground could be inked with Dried Marigold.
The images were Copic coloured. The mice were coloured with E57, 55, 53 and 51 with a little bit of E93 for rosy cheeks and ears.
The confetti was coloured with RV17, 13 and YR07 and the Party Blower with RV17, 13 and 11.
The panel was cut with a die from Essential Stylish Ovals and it was adhered to a black, A2 sized card base.
