Hello everyone! There is nothing like a beautiful background to pull a card together! Spellbinder's Pine Sprays Hot Foil Plate is a beautiful backdrop for cards any time of the year and perfect for the Christmas season. I love the pretty shine hot foiling adds to a card!
Pine Sprays Hot Foil Plate was used to foil pewter hot foil on black card stock. The panel was trimmed to 4" by 5 1/4" and mounted on a black, A2 sized card base.
Glimmer Solid Circle Hot Foil Plate was foiled with pewter to create a solid circle. A circle die was used to cut both the foiled circle and black sheet foam. The circle was stack and adhered to the card front.
A sentiment from Make It Merry Sentiments was cut from both green card stock and foam and stacked. It was adhered below the foiled circle .
The sweet scene was created using Christmas Bird Poinsettia. The palette was kept simple with two shades of green, red, white, dark grey and a touch of black card stock.
The greenery was adhered directly to the the foiled circle while the poinsettia and the bird on the branch were mounted with foam adhesive squares.
The card was embellished with iridescent silver half pearls.
 Pine Sprays Hot Foil Plate was used to foil gold hot foil on green card stock. The panel was cut with a die from the Notched Corner Frames die set and mounted on a black, A2 sized card base.
A small die from the Notched Corner Frames die set was used to cut both gold card stock and black foam. The stacked notched rectangle was adhered to the card front.
The sentiment from Comfort and Joy Sentiments Hot Foil Plate and Die Set was foiled in gold on a muted green card stock. The coordinating die was used to cut both the sentiment and black foam. The stacked sentiment was adhered below the gold rectangle.
A floral arrangement was created in greens, red and pink card stock using the Make It Merry Florals die set.
The card was embellished with red half pearls.
