Hello fellow card makers! I love quick and easy cards and this card fits the bill featuring Spellbinder's Full Bloom Poinsettia Hot Foil Plate and Stencil Bundle! After the beautiful foiling is complete, the coordinating stencils are the key to fast colouring! Love this!
Ivory card stock was foiled in gold with the Full Bloom Poinsettia Hot Foil Plate.
The coordinating stencil set found in the Full Bloom Poinsettia Hot Foil Plate and Stencil Bundlewere used to colour the image quickly and easily! Two to three colours are for each element create depth. I used small daubers to apply Distress Oxide Inks:
Poinsettia - Villainous Potion, Candied Apple, Worn Lipstick
Berries - Villainous Potion, Candied Apple
Cone - Gathered Twigs, Walnut Stain, white Pigment Ink
Needles & Holly - Mowed Lawn, Pine Needles
The panel was spattered with slightly watered down Dr. PH Martin's Bleed Proof White using a fan brush.
The panel was trimmed to 4" by 5 1/4" and adhered to an A2 sized card base.
The sentiment from Make It Merry Sentiments was cut from both gold card stock and black sheet foam. The sentiment was stacked and adhered to bottom of the poinsettia.
The card was embellished with gold half pearls.
