Spellbinder’s Floral Spray from the Bayfair Collection

Hello friends! Today’s card features Floral Spray from the newly released Bayfair Collection. This die set is gorgeous with its beautifully detailed and layered flowers. I have coupled it with some patterned paper from the Bayfair 6X6 Designer Paper Pad and a sweet sentiment included in the Bayfair Chipboard Embellishments.

  • Lunar Gray Cardstock (my new fave!) was cut to 4 1/4” by 5 1/2”.

  • The patterned paper from Bayfair 6X6 Designer Paper Pad was trimmed to 1 3/4” by 5 1/2” was adhered to the left side of the grey card stock. The panel was adhered to an A2 sized card base.

  • Fuschia glitter washi tape, 1/4” wide, was positioned between the patterned paper and the card stock.

  • Several colours of card stock were selected for the die cuts; deep purple, lilac, pink, fuschia, cream, and two shades of teal.

  • After die cutting the elements, the flowers were layered. Some flowers were placed on stems.

  • The arrangement was created and the large and mid-sized flowers were adhered with black foam squares and the reminder of the elements were mounted with liquid adhesive.

  • The sentiment from the Bayfair Chipboard Embellishments was added and the card was embellished with a confetti mix finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.

Oh thank you so much, Penny! I think the shade of dark grey makes a beautiful background for all those bright colours!
