Hello crafty friends! Isn't Spellbinder's Floral Celebration Press Plate gorgeous! I love those sweet, delicate blooms. This press plate can be purchased on its own OR, if you love quick and easy colouring, the Floral Press Plate & Stencil Bundle is available. For my card, I used the stencil set! Love it!
Using the BetterPress Letterpress System, the plate was inked with Tawny Brown ink from the BetterPress Ink Nature Tones set. The design was pressed on cream coloured card stock.
There are six stencils in the stencil set. Distress Oxide inks were applied using detail blending brushes. The stencils are numbered and the colours were applied a follows:
Spun Sugar
Spun Sugar & Salvaged Patina
Scattered Straw
Shabby Shutters
Old Paper
Bundled Sage
The panel was trimmed to 4" by 5 1/4" and adhered to an A2 sized, black card base.
The sentiments are from Let's Celebrate Sentiments Press Plate and Die set. Both the main and secondary sentiments were pressed with BetterPress black ink on cream card stock.
The main sentiments have coordinating dies. The die was used to cut both the sentiment and foam. The sentiment was stacked and adhered to the upper half of the panel.
The secondary sentiment was trimmed and also mounted on foam and adhered below the main sentiment.
