Spellbinder’s Copperplate Happy Birthday Press Plate from Paul Antonio’s Everyday Sentiment Collection

Hello crafty friends! It is no secret! I love beautiful sentiments! Spellbinder's Copperplate Happy Birthday press plate is large and beautifully scripted. This sentiment is one of six found in the Copperplate Everyday Sentiment Collection. Gorgeous sentiments ready to take centre stage on any card!

  • The panel was trimmed to 3 3/4" by 5" and mounted on a black matted A2 sized card base.

  • The tulips from Tulip Trio Dies were cut from Bristol Smooth Card Stock card stock and inked with Distress Oxide Inks Spun Sugar and Victorian Velvet. The stems and leaves were coloured with Mowed Lawn. The inks were applied with blender brushes.

  • The tulips were adhered at the base of the card. The middle tulip head was popped up with a foam square.

  • Clear crystals were placed on the flowers and leaves to represent dew drops.

  • A secondary sentiment from Let's Celebrate Sentiments Press Plate and Die set was pressed below the main sentiment in black BetterPress ink.

  • The floral border from Luxe Backdrop & Border was embossed on white card stock. This embossing folder is really awesome. The folder allows for a full A2 size panel to be embossed with different design than the flower border used for this card. The accompanying die was used to cut the card stock before it was embossed.

  • The florals were painted with acrylic paints.

  • After the embossed panel was adhered to the bottom of the card front, it was mounted to a black matted,A2 sized card base.
