Hello friends! I have a pair of cards featuring Spellbinder's Celebrate Flowers Registration Press Plate from Yana's gorgeous collection Let's Celebrate. The registration system allows you to create multi-colour designs and it is so easy to use! One card has been letterpressed with multiple ink colours and the other with a combination of embossing and ink.
This set comes with two press plates; one for the sentiment and the other with the floral design. The registration mylar sheet is taped to the chase on the BetterPress Letterpress System.
For one card, a Porcelain BetterPress A2 Cotton Card Panel was taped to the registration marks on the platen. The sentiment was lined up first to the mylar registration guide and the panel was pressed with Cruise from the BetterPress Ink Jet Set Tones. The second press plate with the flowers was then aligned to the guide and pressed with black ink.
The little images were Copic coloured with YG41, Y13 and RV02.
The sentiment for the second card was inked with Versamark and then gold embossed. The flowers were inked with Cruise and painted with white gouache.
This card has a secondary sentiment from Let's Celebrate Sentiments Press Plate and Die set. The plate was also inked with cruise on teal card stock. It was trimmed to a strip and mounted on foam.
For both cards the pressed panels were cut with a die from the Mirrored Arch Labels die set. The next largest die was used to cut matte gold card stock. The pressed panel was foam mounted and adhered to the gold panel. The card fronts were mounted on A2 sized card bases.
The cards were embellished with gold confetti finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
