Spellbinder’s Boolicious Fall Cupcake Tags

Hello everyone! Finally! I squeezed in some time to create some tags to pop on treat bags using Spellbinder's Large Die Of the Month, Boolicious Fall Cupcake Tags. This die set is absolutely adorable! I made a couple of Autumn themed tags and the rest for Halloween! So much fun!

  • These tags are so easy and fun to put together! Because I was creating a few tags, I started off die cutting just the three pieces that form the cupcake. I worked with combinations of patterned paper from Serenade of Autumn Paper Pad, glitter & foil card stock and plain card stock.

  • After the cupcakes were assembled, I iced them! There are options here. For the Fall cupcakes, I chose a two piece die set that looks like sprinkles have been added. For the Halloween tags, four dies were used to create a swirl of icing.

  • All the Autumn themed elements were cut in oranges and yellows with touches of gold foil. The elements were arranged on the cupcakes with liquid adhesive or foam squares.

  • The fall sentiment and the 'pick' were cut from gold foil card stock. The sentiment was adhered to a shadow die cut and the base of the pick was adhered to the back of the cupcake.

  • Next the Halloween elements done up in traditional Trick or Treat colours!

  • The Halloween sentiments were cut from glitter card stock. The sentiments were adhered to a black shadow die cut embellished with one of the spooky elements and the base of the pick adhered to the back of the cupcake.

  • For each tag, two circles were cut using the Classic Scalloped Circles Small die set. For the tags with glitter circles, the second die cut was plain coordinating card stock. The two were adhered together creating a firm tag base for the cupcakes.

  • A hole was cut on the circles and ribbons added.

  • The cupcakes were adhered with foam squares.
