Hello everyone! I have another card featuring products from Simon Says Stamp's Smitten Release. This card features a garden favourite of mine, Lady's Mantle. I have tried to capture the cottage-style charm of this perennial with its large chartreuse, scallop-edged leaves in this pretty 'love you' card.
The Lady's Mantle die was used to create three die cuts from Canson XL Watercolor Paper.
Both the script and shadow from Fancy Love You Wafer Dies were also cut from the watercolour paper.
All of die cuts except for the sentiment shadow were sprayed with a combination of Distress Winter Frost Mica Stain, Distress Merry Mint Mica Stain and
A panel of Canson XL Watercolor Paper was sprayed with Distress Winter Frost Mica Stain.
Both the panel and Lady's Mantle die cuts were spattered with Dr. PH Martin's Bleedproof White using a fan brush.
The panel and white sheet foam were cut with the second largest die from the Postage Edge Stamp Frames die set. The panel was mounted on the foam die cut and adhered to an A2 sized card base.
The scripty sentiment was adhered to the shadow die cut and positioned on the lower half of the card front favouring the right hand side.
Two of the Lady's Mantle die cuts were tacked together and adhered to the left hand side of the card front with foam squares.
The stem of the third die cut was trimmed and it was adhered with foam squares branching off of the main stem.
The card was embellished with iridescent green pearls.
