Hello friends! Welcome back! It is release day at Simon Says Stamp! Yes, you are going to love it! The Be Bold Release is amazing. I have two cards featuring a two piece die set, Fancy Mother! This sentiment is large and ready to take centre stage on a special card!
Autumn Frame 6X6 Stencil Is a two piece stencil set. I know! Autumn?! I love it when you can adjust the colours and stretch your supplies.
Cream coloured card stock was stencilled using detail blending brushes and Pawsitively Saturated Inks Trio 24 on one panel and Pawsitively Saturated Inks Ink Trio 21 on the other.
The 1st stencil creates the full leaf. The light and mid-tone inks were applied to random leaves ... Petunia and Pansy on one and Cabbage and Artichoke on the 2nd panel.
The 2nd stencil is all about the pretty details. The dark tones, Aster and Kale, were applied.
The panels were cut with the largest die from the A2 Marquee Nesting Die Set.
The centre of the panels and sheet foam were then cut with the shadow die from Fancy Mother. The foam was cut so that it would sit inside the die cut perimeter detail of the panel.
The panels were adhered to the foam aligning the die cut openings. The green panel was adhered to Matte Gold Card Stock and the purple one to black. These panels were cut to the same size as the panels cut with A2 Marquee.
The card fronts were adhered to A2 sized card bases. The purple card was mounted on a Matte Gold matted, black card base and the other one to a black matted, cream card base.
The script die from Fancy Mother was used to cut matte gold and black card stock. The letters were adhered, recessed, in the shadow die cut openings.
The cards were embellished with matte gold pearls.
