This mixed media card was very easy to make. The main sentiments from LOL was stamped on Bristol smooth cardstock using black ink. The sentiment was then coated with clear embossing powder and melted. The rest of the background, secondary sentiments and emoji’s from LOL and the quilting from Quilted Hearts Background were stamped with Versamark Ink and embossed in white. The panel was spattered with opague white paint using a fan brush. Distress Oxide Inks Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin and Squeezed Lemonade were applied to the panel using an ink smooshing technique. I like to work one colour at a time; applying the ink to the work surface, spritzing it with water and then picking up the colour with the panel. Stars were die cut using the die set of the same name from white card stock and foam. After the stacked stars were adhered and the card was finished off with new folk crystal drops simply white.
