Hello everyone! I have a set of cards featuring Spellbinder's new collection, Serenade of Autumn. This collection is extensive with so many gorgeous products! Today I am focusing on everything you need for beautiful yet 'quick and easy' cards .... Water Color Resist 6X6 Paper Pad, Autumn Chipboard Stickers and Gold Flecked Gemstones!
The panels were done up with Distress Oxide Inks using an ink smooshing technique. If you are not familiar with this easy technique, please view the VIDEO TUTORIAL.
The floral panel was coloured with Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin and Forest Moss. Shabby Shutters, Iced Spruce and Tumbled Glass were used for the butterflies and Abandoned Coral, Dried Marigold and Fossilized Amber for the spiraling leafy design.
Some very quick hand painting was done on two of the panels. The butterflies were painted with Shaded Lilac, Mermaid Lagoon and Shabby Shutters. A few, not all, of the leaves were pained with either Abandoned Coral or Fossilized Amber.
When dry, the panels and white sheet foam were cut with a die from the Notched Corner Frames die set. The panels were stacked.
The foam backed panels were adhered to either a grey or black A2 sized card base.
Sentiments from the Autumn Chipboard Stickers were adhered to the card fronts.
On the leafy card, leaves and hearts were added from Autumn Chipboard Stickers.
The cards were embellished with self-sticking Gold Flecked Gemstones.
