Hello friends! Altenew’s Petal Harmony Hot Foil Plate is a beautiful backdrop! I have combined it with some sweet images from Rustic Charm and big, bold sentiments from Timeless Sentiments 2. Of course, I had to also include the new Fuschia Hot Foil Roll on three of the four cards! Such a fabulous colour! Scroll to the end for a fun bonus card!
For the cards with images from Craft Your Life Project Kit; Rustic Charm, the birds and branches were stamped in black and stencilled with Micro Blending Brush Set.
The branches were coloured with Dark Chocolate, Paper Bag, Frayed Leaf and Forest Glades.
The bluebird was done up with Sea Glass, Ocean Waves, Evening Gray, Moon Rock, Dusk and Black.
For the pink bird, Buttermilk, Soft Lilac, Dark Chocolate, Paper Bag, Cotton Candy and Black was used.
The yellow bird was coloured with Buttermilk, Soft Lilac, Paper Bag, Caramel Toffee and Black.
Blue card stock was foiled in Aura Glimmer Hot Foil and cream card stock with Fuschia Hot Foil Roll using Petal Harmony Hot Foil Plate.
For the card with the pink bird, the used foiled from the bluebird card was foiled on light pink card stock using a Solid Rectangle Foiling Plate.
A solid panel of foiling was created with a Solid Rectangle Foiling Plate and the same colour of foil used with Petal Harmony Hot Foil Plate. It was large enough for the card front panel to sit on as well as to die cut the sentiment from.
The Petal Harmony panels and foam were trimmed to 4 1/8” by 5 3/8” for the blue card and 4” by 5 1/4” for the other two bird cards The panels and foam were cut with a circle die.
The Petal Harmony panel was adhered to the foam and then mounted on the solid foiled panel. The card fronts were adhered to black, A2 sized card bases and foam squares were used to adhere the branch and bird. The card base for the cream foiled panel was matted with gold card stock.
The sentiments from Timeless Sentiments 2 were die cut from the solid foiled card stock.
The card was embellished with either Deep Sea Sapphire Gem Sparkles, Iridescent Crystals Gem Sparkles Or the the gold crystals from Metallic Gold and Silver Gem Sparkles.
I just couldn’t waste the Fuschia Foil from the cream coloured bird card! Again, using the Solid Rectangle Foiling Plate, cream card stock was reverse foiled.
The panel was trimmed to 4” by 5 1/4” and was cut with the shadow die from Timeless Sentiments 2.
The panel was adhered to an A2 sized, cream card base.
I had enough of the solid fuschia foiled card stock left over to cut the Huge Congrats from. Foam was also cut and used to stack the sentiment.
The bottom half of the letters were painted with liquid adhesive and then coated with chunky glitter. The sentiment was adhered to the card.
The secondary sentiments used in this card and the cream bird card are from Rustic Charm. Both were stamped stamped in black on cream coloured card stock and foam mounted.
