What’s your favourite candy—sweet or sour? The Hero Arts Beary Sweet Collection by Spellbinders is packed with playful images that make creating cheerful cards so much fun. Using the adorable Let’s Stick Together Stamp & Cut set, I created three cute A5 note cards inspired by classic gummy candies.

Card Details
I began by creating card bases measuring 3 3/4” × 5”. For each card, I die cut panels of Colorwheel Cardstock in Mint, Blush and Coral using a die from the Linear Touch Rectangles & Tags Die Set. These panels were then adhered to the card bases to create a soft, colourful backdrop.
The Let’s Stick Together Stamp & Cut set includes outline stamps along with coordinating solid stamps for colouring, making it quick and easy to create the candy images. I stamped all of the outlines in black ink onto white cardstock. The solid stamps were then aligned and stamped using Distress Oxide inks in Scattered Straw, Dried Marigold, Spun Sugar, and Shabby Shutters.
The gummy worms are especially fun, as each of the two worm styles includes two coordinating solid stamps so you can create the classic two-toned sour worms you see at the candy store.

All of the candies were cut using the coordinating dies along with white sheet foam for dimension. To give them that sugary candy-shop look, I brushed adhesive over the die cuts and coated them with chunky clear glitter. Once dry, the excess glitter was tapped off, leaving a sparkly sugar-coated finish. The die cuts were adhered to the foam.
The sentiments, included with the set, were stamped, cut with set coordinating dies. The dies were also used to cut foam for dimension. A stacked sentiment was adhered to the bottom of each panel. The candy images were then arranged on each card.
Final Thoughts
These cards are quick, colourful, and full of personality. The sugary sparkle and playful candy images make them perfect little note cards for sending a sweet hello—or perhaps a few worm hugs!
