Hello everyone! How about A Little Note filled with love just in time for Valentine's Day! This slim line with triple shakers features one of my favourite stencils, A Whole Lot of Polka Dots . I love the fine stencilled detailing on this background that doesn't detract from the shaker hearts.
Pawsitively Saturated Inks Cherry, Watermelon and Guava were applied with Life Changing Blender Brushes to slightly oversized Bristol Smooth card stock.
Paper Glaze Snowdrop was applied to Slim Line A Whole Lot of Polka Dots to stencil the panel.
When dry, the panel was trimmed to 3.5" by 8.5".
White card stock was die cut using the scalloped frame die from Slim Line Stitched and Scalloped Rectangles and Alpha Die Cutting System. The frame was adhered to the panel and the panel attached to a card base of the same size.
The scalloped heart from Slim Line Stitched and Scalloped Rectangles and Alpha Die Cutting System was cut from white card stock and Foam Rectangles (These rectangles are double sided with adhesive). This heart is solid but has an debossed border inside the scalloped edging. Following this line, the card stock and foam hearts were fussy cut. Two more hearts for each shaker were cut from white card stock and acetate.
The card stock heart frame was embossed with puffy embossing powder and adhered to the acetate heart. (Hides any imperfections from the fussy cutting!)
The heart frames cut from Foam Rectangles were adhered to the white card stock hearts and All About The Pinks Sequin Mix added to each one. The heart acetate windows were attached completing the shakers.
The shakers were spaced out evenly and adhered to the card.
The same inks used on the background were used to colour hearts cut using the shaker material die from the Slim Line Full Front Shaker die set. The hearts were painted with Paper Glitz Sparkle.
One of the many foliage dies in Layered Flora: Leaves & Twigs was cut from green card stock. The branches, hearts and some sequins from All About The Pinks Sequin Mix were used to create a small arrangement on the first and last heart.
The same inks used on the background were used to Ink blend card stock to cut the sentiment A Little Note Word Die. The sentiment was adhered to the middle heart with three heart accents.
