Easy Stencilled Christmas Cards featuring Spellbinder’s Layered Joy Tree Stencil & Die

Updated: Nov 15, 2023

Hello everyone! Spellbinder's LAYERED JOY TREE STENCIL & DIE BUNDLE from the Layered Christmas Stencil Collection is gorgeous! I love it when you can create beautiful cards quickly and easily. Joy Tree is a six piece stencil set accompanied by a die to cut the sentiment and pop it it up! This set is definitely one to check out!

  • Bristol Smooth card stock was cut to A2 size.

  • The set has six stencils that are numbered in the the bottom left hand corner to indicate the order of use. I renumbered the stencils with a Sharpie marker as my eyes don't see the way they used to!

  • For the blue card, I used Pawsitively Saturated inks. Layer 1 - Marine, Layer 2 - Cadette, Layer 3 - Royal, Layer 4 - Golden Sparkle Paper Glitz, Layer 5 - Royal and Layer 6 - Golden Sparkle.

  • For the other card, I worked with Distress Oxide Inks. Layer 1 - Peeled Paint, Layer 2 - Candied Apple, Layer 3 - Forest Moss, Layer 4 - Silver Bells Paper Glitz, Layer 5 - Seedless Preserves and Layer 6 - Silver Bells.

  • For both panels, the panels were left left to dry after applying Golden Sparkle and Silver Bells after Layers 4 and 6.

  • The panels and black sheet foam were die cut with the sentiment outline die included in LAYERED JOY TREE STENCIL & DIE BUNDLE .

  • The oval panel was adhered to an A2 sized, black card base.

  • The sentiment was stacked on the foam die cut and adhered in the die cut opening of the tree.

  • The blue card was accented with silver pearls and the other card with gold ones.
