Spellbinder's Dancin' Christmas Collection is absolutely adorable with a series of interactive critters dressed up for the holidays! I love the sweet Dancin' & Giftin' Mouse ... darling! The Dancin' Christmas Sentiments is the perfect compliment with all the cute, punny sentiments!
Delicate Snowflakes is a beautiful die set tat consists of snowflake detail and outline dies. The outline die for three of the snowflakes where used to cut both A2 sized white card stock and sheet foam. They were stacked.
The foam backed panel was adhered to light blue card stock before being mounted onto an A2 sized card base.
The detailed die cuts of the snowflakes were recessed onto the card front.
Dancin' & Giftin' Mouse was die cut from two shades of pink and white card stock. The little boots were cut from black glitter card stock and the present and scarf accents from gold foil card stock. The cute little mouse was easily assembled. The legs were not attached to the mouse's body as this is an interactive element. Before adhering the mouse to the present, I positioned the mouse so the recessed area of the snowflake would be avoided when attaching the foam adhesive for the legs. I then could ensure the present would fit within the card front.
A small foam square was used to hang the legs on the back of the mouse. Foam squares were used on the back of the mouse and present making sure they did not interfere with the swinging legs. Easy peasy!
The sentiment from Dancin' Christmas Sentiments was stamped with black Versafine ink on blue card stock, trimmed and adhered to the bottom of the card.
The banner from Let It Snowman A2 Card Front was stacked on a foam die cut and adhered to the card. The small snowflake dies from this set were also used as some additional details for the background.
The centre of all the snowflakes were finished off with Aura Opalescent Sequins.
