Hello everyone! It is time to reveal Day 8 of Spellbinder's Crafty Advent Calendar! This is a sweet layering die set ... two mushrooms accompanied by dies to create grassy details. I love mushrooms whether they are crafted or edible!!!

There are several dies to create the two mushrooms. They were cut from both dark grey and red cardstock and assembled.
Day 8 die set also includes two grassy profile dies. Each were cut twice and two of the die cuts adhered to the base of the stems.
A scalloped circle was cut from light grey card stock and black sheet foam using a die from Classic Scalloped Circles Small. The circle was mounted on the foam die cut and adhered to an A2 sized black card base.
For the large mushroom, the stem will sit on top of three card stock layers. To even the stem with the cap when it is adhered to the card, low profile foam squares were attached to the stem. The mushrooms were adhered to the scalloped circle along with the other two grassy die cuts.
The scripty 'hello' in red was cut using a die found in the Outlined Sentiments die set. It was adhered to the circle.
Additional greenery from the Build-A-Wreath Die Set and red half pearls were added to complete the vignette.
