Card Details
The striped backdrop was created with the first two stencils using Distress Oxide Inks in Shaded Lilac and Milled Lavender. The remaining three stencils built up the cherry design — Squeezed Lemonade blended with a hint of Spun Sugar to create a Rainier cherry look, and Bundled Sage with Old Paper for the stems and foliage.

The adorable flying pig is the bonus item included in Spellbinders’ Deluxe Caboodle Kit, which features all the kits of the month plus a surprise add-on. The pig was die cut from Colorwheel Cardstock in Chiffon, and the glittery pink wings add a perfect touch of whimsy.
The sentiment, “Thanks for showing up in style,” is from the BetterPress Of the Month and was cut with the coordinating die, along with black sheet foam for a dimensional stacked effect. The pig was mounted onto the sentiment using black foam squares for a playful, elevated finish.

Closing Thoughts
The Stencil of the Month, Cherry Chic, is pure retro joy — soft stripes, cheery cherries, and all the vintage charm you could want! I love how easily the design builds with the layered stencils, and the Rainier cherry palette keeps it fresh and fun. Pairing it with the flying pig adds a whimsical twist, proving that classic patterns can still feel playful and modern.
