Yay! A new month means Spellbinder's Clubs are ready to go! The Stitching Die of the Month, I'll Be Home for Christmas, is a gorgeous cover plate with pop-out ornaments. This stitching die set comes with the tree and its outline die, two beautiful banner sentiments and, of course, the ornament toppers! Super sweet!

The cover die was used to cut green card stock for the panel and white, blue and a softer shade of green for the ornaments, The ornaments were also die cut from white sheet foam.
The panel was adhered to an A2 sized card base.
The tree die set was used to cut both white card stock and sheet foam.
The stitching on the three ornaments and the tree was done in a soft green embroidery floss.
The stitched tree and ornament were adhered to the foam die cuts.. I like to use Tombow adhesive to adhere stitched elements. The adhesive was applied and left to dry until it was in its tacky state. I find using Tombow adhesive in this manner does a couple of things. It ensures the stitching is secure and it allows the element to lay pretty snug to whatever it is adhered to.
The ornaments were paper pieced onto the card front in the die cut openings.
The ornament toppers were cut from both white card stock and foam, stacked and adhered to the tops of the ornaments.
The tree was adhered to the card front.
The banner sentiment was used to cut both the soft green card stock and foam. They were stacked and adhered below the tree.
The card was finished up with pretty mint green half pearls ... lots of them! LOL!
