Spellbinder’s Country Roads Collection

Updated: May 10

Hello everyone! Spellbinder's Country Roads Collection is so beautiful! I am working with two products; Country Wheelbarrow, a die set, and die/stamp set called Welcome Sign and Sentiments. The die/stamp set is versatile as it incorporates elements to cover off all of the seasons, holidays and birthdays! Can't wait to make a Christmas card with it! I know, it isn't even summer and I am talking about the coldest time of the year! Sorry!

  • The wheelbarrow was constructed first. All the pieces were cut from either soft pink, ivory or gold card stock. The wheel was die cut from black card stock.

  • The sign was also cut from soft pink, ivory and gold card stock. Before the assembly, the sentiment was stamped on the layered panel for the sign using black Versafine ink. The sign has a few options; there are brackets to hang it directly on the panel without the post and the wood hanger for the post can be switched out with a filigree one. There are also two different finials for the top of the post.

  • Please refer to video to assemble the wheelbarrow and sign post.

  • I used the flowers and stems from the Floral Butterfly Card Front die set but, of course, any small blooms would work well. The foliage was cut from mint card stock and the flowers from pink, ivory and soft pink glitter card stock.

  • The flower centres were finished off small gold foil pearls and then adhered inside the wheelbarrow.

  • The outer frame from Scrolled Punch and Pierce Plate was cut from ivory card stock and adhered to a panel of mint card stock. The card front was mounted on an A2 sized top folding card base.

  • The post was adhered directly to the card front.

  • To attach the wheelbarrow, foam adhesive squares were used to add some dimension.

  • A few flowers on stems were added to the base of the post and wheelbarrow and a couple of blooms to the sign.
