Hello, everyone! Yay! Simon Says Stamp has a new release, Just A Note! I am featuring athe super sweet Citrus Slice Background Die. I am representing the full family of citrus in this fun birthday card, lemons, limes, oranges and my favourite, pink grapefruit! Be sure to check out the full Just A Note Release! It is fabulous!
To prepare the background, a white card stock panel sized 4 1/4" by 5 1/2" was covered with an Tear-rific Adhesive Sheet. This sheet adhesive will eliminate the need for liquid adhesive when the wedges are inlaid on the cover panel.
Another piece of white card stock panel sized 4 1/4" by 5 1/2" was cut with Citrus Slice Background Die. The die cut panel was adhered to first panel.
Pink, orange, yellow and green cardstock were also cut with the Citrus Slice Background Die.
The coloured wedges were inlaid following a rotation of the four colours.
1/4" strips of the coloured card card stock were laid diagonally on a panel large enough for the die cut sentiment. The panel had been prepared using Tear-rific Adhesive Sheets. This adhesive made the task of creating a multicoloured background super fast and easy!
Fancy Happy Birthday Is a big and beautiful sentiment! The die was used to cut the paper pieced panel and white sheet foam. The sentiment was stacked on the foam die cut.
Before adhering the die cut sentiment, it was laid out to position the secondary sentiment from You Shine. This lemony stamp set coordinates well with Citrus Slice Background Die. The sentiment was stamped with black Versafine Ink.
The die cut sentiment was adhered completing this summery, fun birthday card!
