Hello everyone! I have a cute interactive card revisiting Dancin’ Deer on a fun background created with a new nesting die set, Postage Edge Slimlines. This set comes with six dies; 3 with the postage edging and 3 flat edged dies with dot detailing for a layered look. I love the pretty detailed edgings and I know I am going to get a lot of mileage from this set.
To create a background with deep, rich colour quickly, I reach for acrylic paints. A dark blue, purple and magenta were applied with a brayer on Bristol Smooth card stock.
The panel was spattered with Dr.PH Marten's Bleedproof White.
The panel dried fairly quickly and was cut with the largest die from Postage Edge Slimlines.
To create foreground for the panel, white card stock was cut with the postage edge die and a die from Colour Block Scenic Scape.
A panel of silver holographic card stock sized 8 5/8" by 3 1/8" was adhered to a black card base measuring 8 3/4" by 3 3/4". The panels with the postage edging were adhered to the card base.
The two swinging elements were created using Dancin’ Deer and Holly Jolly Gnome.
The sentiment from Outlined Christmas Sentiments was adhered to the hillside and highlighted with Purple Opalescent Sequins finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
