Craft Meraki’s Enchanting Hugs

Hello, crafty friends! Crafty Meraki’s Enchanting Hugs is a big and beautiful hugs sentiment intertwined with florals. The stamp also has three additional words. The accompanying die cuts everything out at the same time. I am a big fan of time savers! So awesome!

  • The images/sentiments were stamped with Versamark ink on coral card stock and embossed in gold. The accompanying die was used to cut the images.

  • Before colouring, the colours were tested on the coloured card stock. This step is important as the ink tones will be altered when used with coloured card stock. The Copic ink was applied using a feathering technique. Two or three applications of ink were needed just for the letters with their larger surface area to get a smooth blend.

  • R39, 37 and 32 were used for the letters and berries.

  • There were two colour combinations for the flowers; R24, 21 and 20 were used for two of the flowers and R29, 27 and 22 for the other three.

  • The leaves were coloured with B99, 95 and 93.

  • The image and black sheet foam were cut with the accompanying die. The main image and the two words, Happy Birthday, were stacked.

  • The main image was centred on a black, 5” by 7” side folding card base.

  • The stacked words were adhered to the centre of the main image.

  • The card was embellished with gold half pearls.
