Hello, everyone! I love Alex Syberia Design's Garden Tweets Die Set! This layering die set is so super sweet and easy to create with. After doing a pile of die cutting, I had enough pieces to put together a card and two tags. A super fun and colourful project!
I began by die cutting. I chose several bright colour of card stock for most of the elements; fuschia, purple, teal and yellow. I also threw in some navy and soft green to tone it down.
This set is comprised of the following layering dies; a bird and three sizes of flowers. Included is a leafy branch and a large script sentiment with a shadow die.
Before working on the backgrounds for the card and tags, all the layering elements were assembled.
The Signature Tags Die Set consists of two styles of tags in two sizes. Using the largest dies, dark grey and black card stock were cut for each tag.
The grey tag was detailed with the Magic Meadow Cover Die before adhering it to the black tag.
The die cut sentiment, HI, was cut from fuschia card stock using Foxtrot Alphabet Die Set.
The elements were adhered to the tags. Liquid adhesive was only applied to the central stem of the leafy branches so the leaves could be picked up for added dimension. The bird was adhered with foam squares.
The sentiment strips were created with Expressing Gratitude Sentiment Stamp and Expressing Gratitude Sentiment Die.
Grey card stock was cut with the Magic Meadow Cover Die and adhered to an A2 black card base.
The elements were temporarily laid out to position and adhere the teal, die cut sentiment.
The foliage, flowers, bird and sentiment strip were adhered in the same manner as the tags.
The card and tags were embellished with white iridescent confetti finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
