Hello card making friends! I have another card featuring Spellbinders' Umbrella Blooms from the Showered with Love Collection. This is such a sweet die set! I couldn't resist filling up the umbrella top with Spring tulips.
White card stock was embossed with the December Embossing Folder of the Month and trimmed to 4" by 5.25".
The panel was mounted on an A2 sized top folding card base.
The umbrella is easily constructed. The umbrella top was cut out of black and pink card stock. The pink segments replaced the the black ones. The underside of the umbrella and the umbrella details were cut from pink and the handle from black.
The handle was adhered to the underside of the umbrella top ensuring the end piece at the top extends above it. The umbrella top to the underside with small, low profile foam squares cut in half. The details for the handle were adhered.
The umbrella was adhered to the card at an angle.
The Umbrella Blooms die set includes a number of various flowers and foliage. I chose to put together the tulips. Because the umbrella top was adhered to the underside with foam squares, the edge was open to allow the tulips to be slipped in with glue applied to the bottom of the stems.
The YAY! sentiment from Raining Hearts is a two piece die set; shadow and script. The shadow die was used to cut both pink card stock and foam. These were stacked and the black script was adhered to it. The sentiment was adhered over the tulips at the same angle as the umbrella.
The card was completed with CONGRATS from the Outlined Sentiments.
