Card Details
I began by building a rustic background using Truffle Colorwheel Cardstock. Planks were cut with dies from Propagation Garden Frames, then lightly blended with black Distress Oxide ink—adding a bit more depth along the edges to bring out that woodgrain look. Each plank was adhered to a black A2 card base with slight spacing and a staggered arrangement for a natural feel. To finish the background, I added pairs of black Nuvo Crystal Drops to mimic nail heads and set everything aside to dry.
For the focal point, the market tote and handles were die cut from Fawn cardstock, with accent pieces (like the handle tabs and label) cut from Truffle for contrast. The bag was adhered using foam adhesive just around the outer edges, leaving space to tuck in all the goodies.
The contents of the tote were created using a mix of Colorwheel Cardstock—Cream, Fawn, Beeswax, Cranberry, Rainforest, Parrot, Fern, Chiffon, Blush, and Mint. I included a fun assortment: peppers, baguette, broccoli, beet, cheese, milk, and tulips. Each piece was either adhered flat or popped up with foam for dimension, and the handle was lightly tacked down where needed to help anchor overlapping elements.

The sentiment, from the Clear Stamp & Die of the Month, was stamped in black ink on Fawn cardstock, then die cut along with black foam for a stacked, dimensional look. It was placed on the right side of the tote to balance the design.
