Hello everyone! It's release day at a picket Fence Studios! I have a couple of cards featuring Layered Flora: Leaves & Twigs and Nested Ring Dies. These light and airy cards also feature a number of other new products. So much to love!
BIRTHDAY CARD
To prepare for die cutting, smal panels of Bristol Smooth card stock were ink blended with Distress Oxide inks using a Life Changing Blender Brush. Hickory Smoke was combined with eith Unchartered Mariner, Picked Raspberry or Villainous Potion.
The panels were stencilled with A Whole Lot of Polka Dots using Paper Glaze Arctic Fox. This stencil is available in different sizes; slimline, 6x6 and 6x8. I used the 6x8 to stencil multiple panels at once.
When dry, the panels were cut with two different kinds of leave in two different sizes from Layered Flora: Leaves & Twigs.
The second largest ring from Nested Ring Dies was cut 5 times. Tombow liquid adhesive was applied to one die cut. The glue was left to dry until it was in its tacky state and the larger leaves were placed on the ring alternating colours. The smaller set of leaves was adhered on the inner wreath. The second style of leaves was adhered alternating between the two sizes and the three colours.
To give the wreath a little bit of lift off the card base, three more rings were adhered to the base ring. The fine ring was attached to the top of the wreath.
A 4 1/4" by 5 1/2" sized white panel was cut with A2 Pierced Blanket Cover Plate and adhered to an A2 card base.
The die cut sentiment, HUGS, from Nested Rectangles was cut 4 times from pink card stock and stacked.
The secondary sentiment from Birthday Girl Dear was stamped with Black Hybrid ink and cut with a sentiment die also from Nested Rectangles.

A LITTLE NOTE
The largest die in Nesting Ring Dies was cut five times from white card stock. An independent shaker was created by stacking four of the die cuts on a card stock circle. Sequins from All of The Pinks was added to the center. A vellum circle the same size as the base of the shaker was adhered to the underside of the fifth ring before adding it to the stack.
A panel of white card stock was stencilled with A Whole Lot of Polka Dots 6x6 using Paper Glaze Arctic Fox. When dry, this panel was trimmed to 4" by 5 1/4" and adhered to an A2 sized card base.
The die cut sentiment from A Little Note was cut 4 times from white card stock and stacked.
The sentiment was adhered to the shaker window with a small grouping of leaves left over from the previous card tied up with pink string.
