FILLED TO THE BRIM

This is the sweetest stamp set ever! I have created a set of mini note cards, A1 size measuring 3 1/4” by 4 3/4” … each one featuring one the images. Working on panels of Bristol Smooth card stock, 3“ by 4 1/2”. Picket Fence Studios’ Water Colouring Scene Building Stencil was used with Ink On 3’s Atelier inks to create backgrounds. Two colours were applied per background with Life Changing Blender Brushes. The panels were spattered with both white and black Gouache paint.

The images were stamped on Bristol Smooth with Picket Fence Studios’ Black Hybrid Ink. The girls were water coloured with the Atelier inks. Both the images and extra wide adhesive white foam were die cut with the coordinating dies. The sentiments were stamped on the card fronts with the Hybrid Ink.

The card bases were matted with black card stock and the card front adhered. The foam backed images were attached and each card was finished off with embellishments from either Honey Bears, On A Cloudy Day or Iridescent Diamond. The sequins on the one card were topped off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.

SLIMLINE RETRO BURST STENCIL

A panel of Bristol Smooth card stock was die cut with the largest die from Slimline Nested Rectangles Dies. Simon Says Stamp's Pawsitively Saturated inks, Trio 2, were applied with a Life Changing Blender Brush. The darker ink was applied in the centres of the two radiating circles of Slimline Retro Burst Stencil and working outwards with the lighter ink tones. The panel was cut with one of the smaller dies from the nesting rectangle set. The resulting frame was mounted on a card base measuring 3 1/2" by 8 1/2". The small rectangular panel was mounted on foam and adhered to the card base.

The die cut sentiment, included in the Slimline Nested Rectangles Dies, was cut from both white card stock and foam and stacked. The card was embellished with clay butterflies from the Kaleidoscope Butterflies and red crystals from On A Cloudy Day.
