A simple card to send you best wishes for a happy Christmas! I hope that each and every one of you find joy this holiday season and are able to spend time with family and friends. Merry Christmas, Cardmaking Friends!
Working on Bristol Smooth card stock, a line of horizon was inked lightly with Distress Oxide ink Tumbled Glass.
Three of the smallest trees from Simon Says Stamp's Tree Mask Stencil were inked with Distress Oxides using Blending Brushes. The two outside trees with the lighter inks were done first, followed by the central tree with its dark colours.
Small Tree - Shaded Lilac & Faded Jeans
Large Tree - Dusty Concord & Uncharted Mariner
Medium Tree - Villainous Potion & Chipped Sapphire
The panel was stencilled with Simon's Large Falling Snow Stencil using Gina K Glitz Glitter Gel; Iridescent. This gel dries super fast and within 10 minutes, I was able to trim the panel to 4" by 5 1/4". It was mounted on an A2 sized card based matted with violet card stock.
A small Merry Christmas sentiment from Simon's Tiny Words Christmas was stamped with their Intense Black ink. This older stamp set is one I come back to each holiday season! The density of the falling snow lessens as it nears the bottom of the panel and I was able to stamp the sentiment between snowflakes.
Simon's Love You consists of two dies. The shadow die was used to cut both black foam and black glitter card stock. The script was cut from dark blue glitter card stock.
