Love Is In the Air with all die cut cards featuring Spellbinders

Hello, everyone! I hope you are well and have some plans to connect with those you love today. My kit featuring Spellbinder's Large & Small Die of the Month and Glimmer Foil arrived JUST in time for Valentine's Day! I quickly made up the cards but there was no time for a video. So here we go!

SLIMLINE KALEIDOSCOPE

This card features the Large Die of the Month, Slimline Kaleidoscope. I used the large, slimline die to cut white Neenah Classic Crest 80lb card stock. i trimmed a piece of Simon Says Stamp's Sea Glass card stock to just shy of 8 1/2" by 3 1/2" and adhered it to the underside of the die cut panel. Two 8 1/2" strips of white card stock were die cut using Simon Says Stamp's Slimline Borders and Edges and attached to the long edges of the main panel. This panel was adhered to a card base of Neenah Classic Crest 110 lb card stock measuring 8 3/4" by 4". The hearts included with this set are layering dies. They were cut three times each in white card stock and stacked together. Gorgeous! The hearts were adhered to the card. The sentiment, love, is from Simon's Hey Love and was die cut three times and stacked. The flower and leaf dies were used to cut Simon's Soft Navy and white card stock and grouped to create a floral spray over the centre heart. The card was finished up with Nuvo Dream Drops, Cloud 9, on the flower centres and to cover a dot detail on the top and bottom of the panel.

LOVELY CARD CREATOR

Lovely Card Creator is the Small Die of the Month. I began with a piece of Canson's Water Color paper sprayed liberally with water and sprinkled Nuvo Shimmer Powder, Lilac Waterfall. When it was completely dry, it was die cut with the frame die. Simon's Lavender card stock was cut with the leafy, floral die and adhered to the frame. The heart outline die was used to cut the heart out of the centre and the panel was adhered to white glitter paper that measured the same as the frame. The shimmer powder heart die cut and foam was then cut with the detail heart and stacked. The panel was adhered to a top folding, A2 sized card base of Neenah Classic Crest 110 lb card stock. The sentiment, borrowed from Calligraphy Hearts, was foiled in Rose, die cut with the coordinating die and stacked on foam.

CALLIGRAPHY HEARTS

This card is created with the Glimmer Foil of the Month. I die cut Simon's Cotton Candy and white card stock with their Slimline Scallop Frame die. The pink rectangle was foiled with Spellbinder's Modern Hearts glimmer plate. I include a short clip to illustrate how I repeat foiled without overlapping.

The panel was adhered to sheet foam. The hearts were foiled in matte gold foil, stacked on foam and adhered to the pink rectangle. This panel was adhered to a card base of Neenah Classic Crest 110 lb card stock measuring 8 1/4" by 3 1/4" that was covered with matte gold card stock. The white scalloped frame was attached. The floral dies were borrowed from Slimline Kaleidoscope to create sprays for the two end hearts.
