Crafty Meraki’s HUGS RELEASE featuring FLORAL WREATH … a new addition to the Artisan Flora Dies Collection

Updated: Feb 26

Hello friends! Oh my goodness! You must check out Crafty Meraki's Artisan Flora Dies Flora Wreath. This is a large die set with multiple layering flowers and greenery to configure as a wreath or a floral arrangement! Super versatile and gorgeous! I have included two cards illustrating different configurations. These cards also features a beautiful new sentiment die set, Meraki Moments Hugs Die Set.

  • Using the Artisan Flora Dies Flora Wreath, the two branches were cut out of green card stock for a total of six die cuts. The flowers were cut from two shades of pink and cream coloured card stock. The dies include all of the layering for each flowers making it very clear what goes together with what!

  • White pigment ink was applied with a blending too to the tips of the leaves.

  • The wreath was built on a circle card stock die cut. I used temporary adhesive tape runner to create the base of the wreath with the first layer of greenery ... 3 die cuts. Switching to liquid adhesive, the second layer of greenery, offset from the first was added followed by the blooms. The wreath was removed from the card stock circle.

  • I used two of three dies included in the Meraki Moments Hugs Die Set to cut dark grey card stock and vellum. The lettering was adhered to the vellum die cut.

  • A cream coloured panel measuring 4 1/4" by 5 1/2" was adhered to a black, A2 sized card base. A dark grey panel measuring 3 3/4" by 5" was mounted on black foam and centred on in card front.

  • After the wreath was adhered to the card. The sentiment was snuggled in amongst greenery of the wreath.

  • The card was embellished with pink confetti finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew for a jewel-like appearance.

  • Using the Green Garland Stencil, Distress Oxide Ink chipped Sapphire followed by a layer of Moda Srap Gelly was applied to a panel of light blue card stock.

  • A second panel of light blue card stock was cut with a circle die. Using doublesided adhesive, a piece of tuille about an inch larger than the die cut was adhered to the back of the panel. Double-sided adhesive was placed around the edges of the tulle and gold confetti added to the centre. Another piece of tulle, the same size, was adhered sandwiching the confetti between the two layers. This panel was adhered to the stencilled one and then on to an A2 sized card base.

  • A floral arrangement was created with Artisan Flora Dies Flora Wreath from navel and three shades of pink card stock. It was adhered to the card stock not the tuille.

  • Using just letter die from Meraki Moments Hugs Die Set, navy card stock was cut. The back of the letters were dotted with Tombow adhesive and left to dry. When dry, Tombow is tacky and repositionable. The sentiment was adhered to the tuille.

  • The card was embellished with Sparkle Golden Illusion Crystals.u
