Spellbinders’ Small Die of the Month for July with Video

Hello friends! Spellbinder's Small Die of the Month … are you ready? We are ‘Skating Into the Holidays’! This is a gorgeous die set and who doesn’t love soft pink skates! This card displays sweetly with the skates dangling in the window opening of the card front.

The July registration window for this club will be available July 6 for current Club Members. New registrations are accepted on the 10th of July. Registrations can be completed until July 27th or while supplies last.

  • The A2 sized card base was creased but not folded. Another panel measuring 4 1/4” by 5 1/2” was lined up on one side of the card base and cut together with a die from the Classic Scalloped Circles Small die set.

  • Depending on the card stock weight, the die may not cut through both layers but will leave an impression on one of them. The die can be ‘locked’ into this impression and die cut. The circles on the panel and card base will align.

  • The panel was embossed with the Embossing Folder of the Month.

  • The dies from the Small Die of the Month were cut from pink, white, silver and green glitter card stock. The skate dies were cut twice. The layering dies were assembled.

  • The skates were adhered together; one overlapping the other. Thread was adhered to the back and an additional die cut of the base of the skate was adhered to cover the thread.

  • The thread was adhered to the top of the card base so the skates would dangle in the window opening. The window on the embossed panel was aligned to the one on the card base and adhered.
