Hello friends! I have another card featuring Spellbinder’s Glimmering Buttercups Bundle (plate and stencil set) from the Glimmering Flowers Collection … except it is not glimmering! At least not from hot foil! I have glimmered BetterPress plates successfully but this is my first attempt BetterPress a hot foil plate. I love it when there are options to stretch craft supplies … especially the ones we are in love with!
Using the BetterPress Letterpress System and a  Porcelain BetterPress A2 Cotton Card Panel, the glimmer plate was inked with BetterPress inks Cruise and Teal Topaz. The inks were applied with the Micro Blending Brush Set.
The image was coloured with the coordinating stencils The flowers and buds were coloured with Cruise from the BetterPress Ink Jet Set Tones. Different tones were achieved by varying the pressure applied.
The leaves were stencilled with Teal Topaz from the BetterPress Ink Tropical Tones. A layer of Moda Scrap Gelly, a shimmery texture paste, was applied over the ink for one of the leafy stencils.
The HELLO die from Everyday Sentiments was used to cut Porcelain BetterPress A2 Cotton Card Panel inked with the Teal Topaz ink and coated with Moda Scrap Gelly. The sentiment was stacked on a foam die cut of the sentiment and adhered to the card.
A Quickie Glue Pen was used to apply small droplets of glue to create a pretty, dot detail. The adhesive was coated with aquamarine glitter.
The card was embellished with clear iridescent confetti finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
